A camp unlike any in the area: train with our elite staff, guest teachers, learn choreography, and end each session with a fun event (glow party, pizza party, ice cream, etc...)! Students receive professional and pre-professional level training in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, musical theater, and more from a variety of local and guest instructors.

Beginner-advanced ​classes will consist of a full barre and center. Primarily Balanchine technique, but all styles and levels welcome.​

Taught by Acrobatic Arts certified instructors, acro masterclasses will focus on conditioning, flexibilty, strength, limbering, and tumbling, with fun new skills and variations to practice. Please wear a leotard or sports top with snug-fitting shorts or leggings, hair in a low bun, and bring plenty of water.

Dancers ages 4 and up are eligible to audition for Maine Dance Center's Elite Dance Team. The auditions are completely free, but we ask dancers still register online in order to receive relevant information via email. If you'd like to talk more about whether the Elite team is the right fit for your family/dancer, send us an email!

Auditionees should wear a leotard, pink tights, hair in a low bun, and bring all of their dance shoes and plenty of water. Dancers that wish to audition for a solo should prepare 30 seconds of their own choreography, or choreography from a class or performance.

Step into the magical world of Oz this winter at Maine Dance Center’s Wicked Camp! Designed for aspiring performers ages 6-18 in this 3-hour program, will immerse students in the music, movement, and drama inspired by the hit Broadway musical Wicked.
